The 10¾ x 11 perf self adhesive stamp (on the left) can be easily distinguished from the 11½ perf stamp (on the right) by the style of the corners of the die cut perforations - the 11½ has blunt corners. The 10¾ x 11 stamp variety originates solely from dispenser boxes of 100 stamps and was issued on 'Official Olympic Sponsor' (as shown above left), 'Royal Dalton Ceramics Exhibition' or plain backing papers. A limited number of the 11½ perf self adhesive stamps were issued to Post Offices in sheets for use on First Day Covers but the remainder were all issued on plain backing paper. Dispenser boxes were on sale until 1994 and a variety of backing papers were used over those three years.

The self adhesive dispenser boxes had extra labels included at strategic places to warn when the stamps were running low.
